Megan Minton, MSN, WHNP-BC earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Duke University in 2020, and is board certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.

Before joining Carolina Conceptions, she provided nine years of nursing care in the emergency department, perioperative services, and breast and gynecologic oncology at two large local health systems. In all of those roles, she was especially drawn to the care of women and their. families, which ultimately drove her decision to return to school and pursue becoming a WHNP.

Megan is committed to patient-centered care and lifelong learning. She has been nominated to receive the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses. She has also been a clinical preceptor for student nurses and has volunteered as a lab assistant for student nurse practitioners at Duke. She is a member of the North Carolina Nurses Association, the American Nurses Association, Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and the Nurses Professional Group of the ASRM.
