Holiday Hours: With the exception of previously scheduled appointments, Carolina Conceptions will be closed on July 4, 2022, in observance of Independence Day.

If a patient’s period starts over the holiday weekend, walk in appointments are available Sunday or Monday before 8 a.m. for an ultrasound.

Charlotte monitoring: what to expect

Thank you for your interest in Carolina Conceptions!

Our main location providing fertility treatments and the IVF lab is located in Raleigh, NC. For patients who live closer to Charlotte, we partner with local OB/GYNs to help monitor patients during their fertility treatment.

Patients must first become an established patient with Carolina Conceptions by:

  1. Completing their patient portal registration and health history online paperwork (for the primary patient and partner if applicable).
  2. Scheduling a new patient consultation with one of our fertility doctors via a telehealth appointment.
  3. Completing any testing discussed during the initial consultation.

Fertility monitoring in Charlotte

Once your fertility treatment plan is established and underway, patients can complete monitoring visits (which occur in between fertility treatment visits at our Raleigh fertility clinic) closer to home at our Charlotte monitoring partner below.

Carolina Conceptions will coordinate monitoring care of our fertility patients to schedule ultrasounds during a treatment cycle. Monitoring results are sent directly to our physicians via email or fax, and our clinic can then call patients with their next steps in the treatment cycle.

Charlotte fertility patients can do most of their monitoring visits in Charlotte, but will come to our main Raleigh location for fertility procedures such as the Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) or In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) egg retrieval and embryo transfer.

Charlotte fertility monitoring: ultrasounds

In partnership with Dr. Heather Graham, patients who live in Charlotte can be seen for ultrasounds at her office on Randolph Road. This helps reduce the need to travel to Raleigh outside of procedures.
