Shannon Lloyd, RN/Gestational Carrier Coordinator

Originally from Massachusetts, Shannon moved to Wake Forest in the fall of 2005. After receiving her Associates Degree in Nursing in December 2009 from Wake Technical Community College, Shannon became an Registered Nurse in January 2010. She began working in the Emergency Room at a local hospital where she worked for 5½  years. During her time as an ER nurse, she met her husband – an EMT.

In 2011, Shannon and her husband were patients at Carolina Conceptions. After going through her own path to fertility, Shannon became interested in helping other women and their families with their fertility struggles.

For the past 2½ years Shannon has worked as a labor and delivery nurse in Raleigh. When a nursing position at Carolina Conceptions opened, she jumped at the opportunity to become part of the team. Shannon is excited to help guide others through their treatments with the unique perspective of both a former patient and now as an infertility nurse.

We are still seeing patients for both physician consults and nurse treatment classes via telemedicine. Click to Learn More
