Fertility Treatment Cost
Financial counseling
This is often one of the most stressful topics to patients. You want to build a family so much, yet how can it be affordable, especially if you need to do multiple rounds of more advanced treatments like IVF?
At Carolina Conceptions, it is our priority to make sure you understand all potential costs involved before treatment begins so there are no financial surprises along the way.
Our financial coordinators are here to help you:
- Understand & make the most of your insurance benefits
- Review an in-depth, explanation about the costs associated with treatment recommended by your physician INCLUDING medications (an expense often left off quotes from other clinics)
- Feel confident about your decision to invest in treatment with Carolina Conceptions because we do our best to avoid financial surprises
After you and your physician decide what type of treatment to pursue, you will meet with one of our financial coordinators. We will outline fertility benefits provided by your insurance as well as all other anticipated expenses such as fertility medications, cycle monitoring, and fees for à la carte services like genetic testing, if needed.
When comparing the cost of treatment cycles at multiple clinics, it is essential to confirm all line items are included. Many clinics will promote a low cost for IVF to get you in the door. These low numbers often do not include necessary fees for cycle medications or monitoring.
Your financial counselor will advise you on costs throughout your treatment.
Understanding costs & insurance coverage
Teleconferences are often used for patients who are out of town and for anyone who wishes to reduce the risk of Covid 19 (coronavirus) exposure. Many insurance plans will cover video conferencing with physicians in order to get a second opinion or initiate treatment through one of our satellite clinics in Wilmington, New Bern, Greenville, Jacksonville, Morehead City, Pinehurst and Southern Pines.
