Patients are often happily surprised to learn their insurance typically covers the cost of a fertility consult with one of our physicians and some fertility testing. The Triangle is lucky to have some great employers in RTP that do offer insurance benefits, several of whom provide fertility treatment coverage.

We have medical contracts with the below companies. However, please contact your insurance company to confirm we are in-network as some plans are not included in our contract. In addition, many plans will not cover actual treatments, such as IUI and IVF. Carolina Conceptions Fertility is IN NETWORK with:

After you and your physician decide on a treatment plan, your physician will have our finance team generate and send you your personalized estimate.
Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for a patient’s insurance plan to not provide fertility care coverage, and some patients may have insurance programs that we are not participating providers with. For example, we are not able to accept insurance coverage from Medicaid, Medicare, or other government programs.
In our effort to make fertility care as accessible and affordable as possible, we have established a Self-Pay program. Through Self-Pay, we are able to offer our resources at a rate discounted from those set by insurance companies, and we have a variety of discounts for bundled treatments or multiple cycles.
Any patient can elect to use our Self-Pay program, even and especially if they otherwise don’t have a coverage option with us, like those who have Medicaid.
If you plan on being a Self-Pay patient, please notify us upon scheduling a consultation. We will provide additional documents to further inform you about Self-Pay and get you enrolled in our program.
(Research study participants without coverage will also need to enroll in this program – even if the treatment will be provided free-of-cost.)
As of 2026, a 5% cost increase will be applied to all packages and fee-for-service items. As we continually strive to provide the finest overall value to our customers year-over-year and absorb cost increases where possible, the increases in our supply chain and service environments have forced us to increase our prices.
