About Dr. Barry A. Ripps

Barry A. Ripps, M.D., FACOG, is a board certified REI physician who is joining the team at Carolina Conceptions Fertility to provide continuity of care while supporting our growing fertility practice. With extensive experience in reproductive medicine, Dr. Ripps is committed to delivering compassionate, individualized care and helping patients achieve their family-building goals.

Dr. Ripps brings over thrity years of clinical experience in human reproduction to the Gulf Coast. Dr. Ripps graduated cum laude from Vanderbily University and completed medical school at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. His Residency and Fellowship training were completed at the University of Tennessee-Memphis. In 2024, he received the Castle Connolly Top Doctor award and is certified as a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

We had struggled for 2 years of unexplained fertility before this. We realize we were extremely blessed by getting pregnant on our first IUI try. It was a blessing to find a clinic like Carolina Conceptions. We now have a 6 month old (today!) and cannot believe how much joy he has brought to our lives. We will forever be grateful to CC for helping us through this process.
