What They’re Saying

With you every step of the way

We are extremely proud of the lasting relationships we develop with our patients. We love seeing how their children have grown when they stop in the office to say hello or send us holiday cards. We feel honored when they pay us the highest compliment of sending us their friends and family members who are also struggling to conceive.

Our Reviews

In a world where online reputation has become so important, we are grateful to the existing and former patients who have taken the time to share their Carolina Conceptions experience online. This is especially appreciated due to the private nature of our business. Many couples do not feel comfortable sharing their fertility journey with their closest friends and family, let alone in such a public space online.

Thank you to those who are sharing publicly on Facebook and Google. You inspire others with your story and are helping others decide who to trust when considering fertility clinics.

"SH, Raleigh, NC"

My husband and I would not have our son and daughter if it were not for the wonderful and knowledgeable staff and Carolina Conceptions. We were told we couldn’t conceive using our own genetics by other clinics but Carolina Conceptions helped us do just that. They are up to date on the latest technology, procedures, and research. I could go on and on but I have to chase down my toddlers!

"SM, Holly Springs, NC"

My husband and I had a very positive experience at Carolina Conceptions. We mainly saw Dr. Meyer who was very helpful and attentive to our case. We received excellent care from all of the doctors, nurses and entire staff. Going through this process is so very taxing, emotional and draining and the staff at CC goes out of their way to make it as pleasant as possible. I would refer anyone to this clinic, I have a beautiful 4 month old daughter who is giggling away as I write this! I am very thankful to Dr. Meyer and CC for helping me have a healthy baby!

I am 37 years old and currently a 3rd time Gestational Carrier. I worked with another agency for my first 2 journeys and with Carolina Conceptions for my current journey. My experiences as a carrier for my first family (2 siblings) were so fulfilling that I knew that I wanted to be a carrier again, but this time I contacted Carolina Conceptions directly. The prospect of less travel and the ability to help a local family was very appealing. Plus, having been in Carolina Conceptions’ office for my monitoring with my 2 previous journeys, I already knew that the staff was warm and inviting. Every email and every phone call has always been returned quickly. When I was matched with my current family, we were all very eager to get things started. I am quite certain that if I didn’t have a 3 week family vacation planned before the match, it would have been even faster. I am now expecting twins in late 2014 for the family in which I was matched with. The ease of communication with CC is just wonderful. I was never made to feel like I was calling too often or asking too many questions. When I would go in for blood tests and hormone level checks, I was never left to wait impatiently by the phone for results. Not only was it clear that my time was important to them, but I could tell that they were all cheering me on, hoping for the best outcome. The smiling faces of the staff at the reception area, were always present when I walked off the elevator. When a problem arose after my transfer, I was brought into the office quickly. Thankfully, everything turned out fine, but seeing the concern on the faces of Dr. Park and Tammy helped me feel less alone at a pretty scary moment. Even after being released to my own OB for the remainder of the pregnancy, I still feel the kindness of CC through emails. I really feel that my joy (that of myself and the intended parents) is Carolina Conceptions’ joy too, and I can’t wait to see the pictures of these twins of the cork board at Carolina Conceptions’ office when I possibly walk in for my 4th journey!

My husband and I have been patients of Carolina Conceptions since spring 2012 and now have a beautiful daughter born via a wonderful gestational carrier. Working with Carolina Conceptions has been a great experience – doctors at CC are not only highly skilled but also have empathy; staff at CC are helpful, warm, and prompt.”

"ES, Cary, NC"

I went to Carolina Conceptions after being diagnosed with Asherman’s syndrome as a result of a miscarriage of our first pregnancy.
We primarily saw Couchman and had a few visits with Dr. Meyer. My husband and I were so impressed with the care and treatment we received from everyone at Carolina Conceptions. The doctors took all the time we needed to answer our questions and were thorough in their answers. I am fortunate the case of Asherman’s was not severe which we learned after the surgery. Just a few short months later, under the care of Dr. Couchman and Dr. Meyer we were pregnant again. We are happy to report that we are 22 weeks along with a healthy baby girl.

The only negative thing I have to say is that I wish they would continue seeing us through our pregnancy since they are the best in town!

"MM, Raleigh, NC"

We first came to Carolina Conceptions in 2012 for an infertility diagnosis. Dr. Grace Couchman was able to give us a diagnosis rather quickly and a suggested conception plan. Within a matter of months, we were pregnant with our son who was born the next April. Dr. Couchman, her partner physicians, nurses, and office staff were amazing through the entire process. Everyone was friendly, comforting, and accommodating through what is understandably a very stressful time. Because our experience was so positive, we visited Dr. Couchman again earlier this year for another consultation. She again recommended a conception plan for us and within the next month we were pregnant again! We are expecting our little girl in the next few weeks. I cannot say enough good things about this facility. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Couchman and her staff to anyone who is looking for assistance in starting a family.

"TM, Wilson, NC"

I must begin by saying I absolutely love Carolina Conceptions! I began my journey with CC a few months ago. My partner and I planned to have a child earlier this year and began researching options to expand our family. We searched for fertility clinics and specialists in NC and the first hit was CC. We looked at all of the testimonials and was convinced this had to be the place for us. We scheduled a consultation with Dr. Meyer in July 2014. He was inviting, informative, and honest about options and costs. We decided that IUI would be the best option as I do not have any fertility issues. We spoke with the lab technician about sperm options and the financial specialists about insurance expectations and costs. We left the office that day feeling welcome, informed, and hopeful. Within a month’s time I began the blood work and initial appointments. I was approved to begin my first round of Femara and had 2 mature follicles (one on each side). I was inseminated in September 2014. The nurse was kind enough to let my partner insert the sperm (under her close supervision of course). We conceived on the first try!!! We couldn’t be happier. We love CC and would recommend it to anyone. The staff is great and inviting, but most of all, they helped make our family a reality.

"FO, Sneads Ferry, NC"

Moving to North Carolina a year ago from out of state, and finding out after over a year of trying that IVF would be our only option, finding a clinic locally was so overwhelming. There are many to choose from, and I called most infertility clinics within a 3 hour radius to where we would be living in Sneads Ferry. From a phone call alone, the decision was clear. The staff at Carolina Conceptions, from the Doctors to nurses, to front office staff and financial advisors, all the way back to the lab technicians was the most amazing customer service I have ever experienced. When you struggle with infertility, all you want going through this very stressful and emotional roller coaster of a journey is to work with a team of people who treat you with the compassion that you desire going through something so hard. That is what you will get at CC! All the other clinics made me feel like a number, an income, a dollar sign.

Dr. Grace Couchman was the perfect amount of professional, mixed with compassion, and I could not have asked for a better experience. She always answered my emails, even on the weekends!! I could not believe the level of care she provided. The nurse on our case Terry Hunter was just as amazing. I wouldn’t always get calls or updates from just these two ladies, but anyone that called me knew everything about my case and could answer any question I had. The process of going through IVF with this clinic was just amazingly seamless and easy! My husband is military, and this practice accommodated to his crazy schedule and even had staff on hand over the weekend come in just to work around our schedule. We had to do remote monitoring due to living in Sneads Ferry, and the doctor’s office they set us up with in Wilmington was just as fantastic. Dr. William Cooper was great!

They completely supported my wants and wishes to skip all the in between options that could have made them more money but may not have worked, and never once questioned my determination to go straight to the IVF. All of the other clinics we had talked to wanted us to try a million things that would have cost us an absurd amount of money, only to probably have to do the IVF my gut told me would work. We did our first round of IVF in August of 2014 (male factor infertility), transferred two embryos and found out two weeks later it had worked! We were pregnant with twins. Unfortunately we lost one of our babies at 8 and a half weeks, but Dr. Couchman handled me beautifully with her explanation as to why this happened, and put me at ease with any concerns I had. I am now 23 Weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy and I owe everything to this practice. We WILL be using this clinic again when we decide to do the transfer of our frozen embryos later down the road. The cost of this practice was SLIGHTLY more expensive than a few others, but by far exceeds any and all expectations you would have when going through this process.

Thank you Carolina Conceptions, Dr. Couchman, and the entire team that worked with my husband and me and made our dreams of having a family a reality!

"MB, Apex, NC"

I began going to Carolina Conceptions in 2011 after unsuccessfully becoming pregnant. They worked with me for 2 and a half years, and treated me with the utmost compassion and respect. Everyone on staff from the reception desk to the nurses and doctors were friendly and welcoming. I knew from the start that this was not an experience like going to the regular doctor. It seems that everyone hopes for the best for their patients and when you have disappointments, they are disappointed right with you. When you have success, they genuinely are thrilled right with you. My husband and I were finally able to have a child of our own after almost 3 years and we can’t thank Carolina Conceptions enough for helping us on this journey.

First off let me just say that if you have stumbled upon this website you are in the right place! Carolina Conceptions is the place you want to be to build your family! You will get the best care and attention you need. We are so grateful and thankful for our journey with this practice. After 6 years of struggling to get pregnant we were referred to CC and have not looked back. Our infertility struggles stemmed from having bad fallopian tubes and I needed to remove them to move forward with IVF. It was scary to say the least to remove a part of your body that allows you to become pregnant the natural way, but we trusted CC and went ahead with surgery. Our first IVF cycle was in February of 2013 to where we transferred 2 of our embryo babies, but unfortunately we did not end up pregnant. Thankfully we had one frosty left and we kept it frozen for a year and went back on March 21, 2014 and had it implanted. That day was so different than our first fresh IVF. We were less stressed and Dr. Meyer and his staff made us feel so comfortable. They had Krispy Kreme donuts that morning at their office and after our transfer Dr. Meyer made sure to give us a couple donuts! I believe those donuts helped our frosty stick lol! 2 weeks later we found out we were pregnant and welcomed our sweet Fiona Drew on 11/30/2014! She is our miracle baby who had a 35% chance of sticking around….God had a plan and he has a plan for your life if you are reading this. Numbers mean very little when it comes to God and a great practice. Dr. Park and Dr. Meyer are great. Dr. Park helped us get to where we are today and we are just so thankful. They really care about helping you build your family! Dr. Couchman is great too. Nurse Terry is absolutely amazing too. All of the staff is great. You cannot go wrong here! Thanks to the whole CC staff for helping us get our little girl!
