What They’re Saying

With you every step of the way

We are extremely proud of the lasting relationships we develop with our patients. We love seeing how their children have grown when they stop in the office to say hello or send us holiday cards. We feel honored when they pay us the highest compliment of sending us their friends and family members who are also struggling to conceive.

Our Reviews

In a world where online reputation has become so important, we are grateful to the existing and former patients who have taken the time to share their Carolina Conceptions experience online. This is especially appreciated due to the private nature of our business. Many couples do not feel comfortable sharing their fertility journey with their closest friends and family, let alone in such a public space online.

Thank you to those who are sharing publicly on Facebook and Google. You inspire others with your story and are helping others decide who to trust when considering fertility clinics.

Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to be parents and giving us hope when he had none left. I thank God for you and for the whole staff at CC. “Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to be parents and giving us hope when he had none left. I thank God for you and for the whole staff at CC. It is our prayer that God may continue to bless you all as you make a difference in a lot of peoples lives like you did ours.

I tell everyone about you and your office. I work at [a medical office], and I share our experince at your office with patients, and I have never hesitated to tell them how great you are. I give your office contacts to anyone that mentions to me about their fertility problems. In fact, I have two close friends that are under your care I recommended to you.

There is so much that I can say, but words cannot explain the utmost gratitude that we have to you and your staff. Thank you again and we will stop by later this spring so you can meet our little man. God Bless you!

Cannot say enough good things about this practice and the people behind it!

Our little girls were conceived as a direct result of embryo donation. My husband I consider it to be like traditional adoption, just nine months earlier. “Our journey to add to our family has not been easy but has become a reality through embryo donation/adoption. Despite IVF and even egg donation, we found ourselves still without little feet running through our home. We even lost our dearly loved, infant son due to genetic issues of which we had no awareness before his conception.
However, due to the kindness of people who we don’t even know, but who shared the same desire as us to be parents and walked a similar path of infertility, we are now expecting twins. Our little girls were conceived as a direct result of embryo donation. My husband I consider it to be like traditional adoption, just nine months earlier. We are so thankful to the donating family and recognize that they literally have made our dreams come true.
Any patient who has experienced the IVF process knows how precious those embryos are. I urge anyone who has completed their family and has remaining embryos to consider embryo donation/adoption. A donating family is giving the gift of life to those precious embryos and allowing another family to fulfill their dreams. There really has been no downside for us—just blessings.”

I know you heard all the appreciation from her, but from the man side THANK YOU!! (Note to a Carolina Conceptions Staff Member) “First off I want to thank you for being my wife’s “safety blanket” through all of this…I can’t tell you how much you meant to her! We are the type of people who like to have personal comfort when experiencing big moments we know nothing about, and you were such a relaxing comfort through the whole process, which I am sure you knew from all of my wife’s talks with you. Because God knows I had no clue about what was happening and I hate being helpless like that. I sincerely believe this experience was much more enjoyable for us and I truly believe we grew closer in our relationship. I know you heard all the appreciation from her, but from the man side THANK YOU!!”

Dr. Park went above and beyond what was professionally required of him in order to help me and my husband to become pregnant. “After 15 years of not being able to conceive, my gynecologist referred me to Dr. Park. I was skeptical because no one had been able to help me and my husband so far. But after meeting with Dr. Park, we were willing to give it one more try. Dr. Park was kind, sincere, compassionate and approached infertility with such professionalism and determination that I felt completely comfortable with him and his suggestions.

Because of our situation, we elected IVF. The first cycle was canceled but we became pregnant on the second cycle. Dr. Park went above and beyond what was professionally required of him in order to help me and my husband to become pregnant.

We are forever grateful to the entire staff of Carolina Conceptions (all the doctors, nurses and admin staff are awesome) and especially to Dr. Park who made me feel comfortable and relaxed enough to trust him to do all that he knew how to do to help us get pregnant.

Our son is 2.5 months old; he was born in February after a 38 week, uneventful (problem-free) pregnancy.

Thanks again Carolina Conceptions and please continue making couples dreams of parenthood come true.”

In the end I surpassed the amount of weight I had to lose for the procedure, and now a little over a year later, I just spent my first mothers day with my two beautiful twin boys. “Let me begin by saying how happy my husband and I were with Carolina Conceptions. The staff was always friendly and helpful and the doctors were understanding and caring.

When we first arrived at CC and it was determined that IVF was going to be our best chance at pregnancy, I was informed that I would need to lose about 40 lbs in order to undergo the transfer procedure. I have always been overweight (despite many diets over the years I had been unable to ever lose a significant amount) and hearing this from Dr. Couchman at first sounded like the door slamming shut on my dream to have a family. She encouraged me and offered some advice on how to go about the weight loss, but in the car outside the office I broke down in tears. Over the next few days I decided to try her advice (lots of exercise and following a low carb diet) and found that I was able to lose the weight more easily that I would have ever dreamed. It was still hard, however, I had a wonderful goal that I was working toward.

In the end I surpassed the amount of weight I had to lose for the procedure, and now a little over a year later, I just spent my first mothers day with my two beautiful twin boys.

Thank you Carolina Conceptions for making our dreams of a family come true!”

I don’t think the words ‘thank you’ begin to even express all our gratitude for CC’s help. “Dr. Couchman, just wanted you to know that we had a very healthy baby boy. He is just perfect! I don’t think the words ‘thank you’ begin to even express all our gratitude for CC’s help. Hope to see you again in the next few years for our frozen cycle.”

Best Regards

All the staff at Carolina Conceptions have been rooting for us and its feels good when they are just as happy for you as you are for yourself. “My husband and I have been battling infertility for eight years. In 2007 we were referred to Carolina conceptions by my obgyn. We were diagnosed with unexplained infertility so Dr. Couchman suggested we try iui so we did. Our first round of iui and we were pregnant but it ended in what most would call a chemical pregnancy either way it was still devastating. So we decided to take some time off because we had to pay for everything out of pocket. In 2008 we tried iui again and it failed and physically we were worn out so we took two years off from trying to get ourselves right.

In 2010, we decided to do one more iui (in January) and we thought that it had failed again. In February I woke up in horrible pain on the 23rd and had my husband take me to the ER where we found out we were pregnant (but also that we were pregnant with twins) but one was in my left tube and one in my right tube and they both had heartbeats but my tubes were about to rupture. So they had to go in and do emergency surgery and took both my tubes so the only way we could get pregnant now was through IVF which was going to be hard to come up with the money.

Now it’s 2011 and my husband’s parents gave us the money to do IVF and we were also approved for the compassionate care program which covered all my meds. July came and we did our egg retrieval and they got 5 eggs (4 were mature and 2 fertilized) but that was ok because we were going to put two in so they were eight celled and seven celled. The day of transfer came and everything went great. The hardest part was the two week wait and when it finally came we found out we were PREGNANT!!!!!!!!! This was great-we were so excited two day later, we went back to make sure numbers were doubling-they were. Then you wait again for your first ultrasound to find out how many you are having. The day finally came and we saw one tiny bean with the flicker of the heartbeat that was one of the best days of our lives. We had to go back in a week to make sure all was growing good and to be released to my obgyn. The next appointment came and still one baby strong heartbeat growing just right so we were released to our obgyn.

We are currently 10 wks pregnant and last week we had our first ob appointment and got to hear the heartbeat. Without Dr. Couchman, Dr. Meyer and Dr. Park this wouldn’t be possible. We are so grateful for everything they have done for us to make our dream of being parents come true. All the staff at Carolina Conceptions have been rooting for us and its feels good when they are just as happy for you as you are for yourself. Thank you again for everything-I already tell anyone who is dealing with infertility to go to Carolina Conceptions because they were our blessing in disguise. We are now going to be parents for the first time and we just want you all to know that we enjoyed our journey with y’all and you never know…maybe we will do it again one day. Thank you again.”

We also appreciated the fact that we were treated respectfully, the visit was not rushed, and we were not encouraged to spend a lot of money for procedures that would likely not be successful. “My husband and I wanted to thank Dr. Park for our consultation on Wednesday. We appreciate him sharing his knowledge and honest opinions with us so that we could make an informed decision. We also appreciated the fact that we were treated respectfully, the visit was not rushed, and we were not encouraged to spend a lot of money for procedures that would likely not be successful. We found him personally to be friendly, courteous and professional.

Again, we thank you for your time and assistance.”
